An EXPERT is someone widely recognized as a reliabe source of technique or skill whose faculty for judging or deciding rightly, justly, or wisely is accorded authority and status by their peers or the public in a specific well-distinguished domain. An expert, mor generally, is a person with extensive knowledge or ability based on research, experience, or occupation and in a particular area of study. Experts are called in for advice on their respective subject, but they do not always agree on the particulars of a field of study. An expert can be, by virtue of credential, training, education, profession, publication or experience, believed to have special knowledge of a subject beyond that of the average person, sufficient that others may officially (and legally) rely upon the individual`s opinion.

1. FORM, NAME AND SEAT OF ORGANIZATION

1.1 There is hereby established a voluntary association to be known as "African Expert Federation - AEF" (hereinafter referred to as "the organization"), which is a legal person with limited liability and an existence seperate from its members, and thereby a body corporate with perpetual succession which may own property, enter into contracts, and sue and be sued in its own name.

1.2. The headquarters of the organization is in Windhoek, Namibia.

1.3. The organization can set up Branch offices in other towns.

2. MISSION

2.1. The Mission of the organization is to promote the professional interests of independent African experts, their organizations and the African expert affairs.

3. AIMS AND OBJECTIVES

3.1. The organization includes natural and legal persons who are connected to the African and International expert affairs being together to enforce common interests in a professional organization.

3.2 The professional interests of the independent African experts and their organizations are promoted through the work of the organization.

3.3 The organization stands for independent qualified professional work of specialists having influence on quality and competence of independent expert services for the benefit of African consumers, as well as it assists to collaboration with interested users and consumers unions.

3.4. The organization effects on training and further training in accordance with the newest level of theory and practise of such professions, which have special influence on quality and competence of independent expert services in particular the implementation of the international standard ISO/IEC 17024.

3.5 The organization collaborates particularly with African and international certification authorities, control authorities, expert organization, business alliances and customers unions.

3.6. The organization provides assistance without economic benefit and orientation on profit with cooperated natural and legal persons by means of competition and organization of ratings, presentation of stamps and quality marks as well as quality- and competence prizes, quality and competence of expert services and international level.

3.7. The organization supports, in the network of its possibilities, government-, municipal-, social- and other organizations in questions of Afrivan and international expert affairs and represents interests of its members, particularly also Africans consumers concerned with improvement of quality and competence of expert services.

3.8. By ist international activity the organization assists in mutual understanding between nations.

3.9. The organization represents its interests in the public, particularly by African and international exchange of experience, as well as by specialized profession publications.

3.10. The organization is politically and confessional neutral.

3.11. Means are using only for statutory goals of the organization.

5. MEMBERSHIP

5.1. Membership of the organization is open to all natural persons of full age and legal persons who show an involvement in and a commitment to the activities ansd ideals of the organization, to participate in their work and pay membership fees.

5.2. The organization will not discriminate in membership on the basis of race, color, religion, national origin, ancestry, citizenship, sex, gender, sexual orientation, age or disability.

5.3. The organization consists of fouding members, ordinary members, Honory President ans honorary members.

12. INSTITUTIONS OF THE ORGANIZATION

12.1. The organs of the organization are

(a) The General Assembly;

(b) The President;

(c) The Executive Board;

(d) The Advisory Board;

(e) Specialized Sections.
